Ruth Halpern

Founder and president Ruth Halpern has been working in training and technology since 1983. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude, her original venture into entrepreneurship was to teach “Management Communications” to professionals to improve their written and oral presentation skills. This led to a three-year teaching position at John F. Kennedy University’s School of Management.

Ruth authored one of the earliest reference books on WordPerfect 5 for DOS, Getting the Most from WordPerfect 5 (Osborne/McGraw-Hill, 1986). From there, she launched her line of customized software training manuals. She has published many articles on professional development and technology in industry journals, and has been a featured speaker at the California State Bar Association, the Legal Marketing Association, and at many other trade shows and seminars.

Ruth was the co-chair of the Northern California Word Legal Users Group from 1999 to 2002. She is frequently invited to InterAction Users Groups around the country, where she presents and shares information on how to make InterAction successful within an organization.
